It is hard to believe that our little one is six months old!
He is getting so big and into everything!
He is a super happy, easy-going kid for the most part. He is very good at communicating what he wants, whether that be food, sleep, or entertainment. He is now eating solids (pureed) twice a day, and has not yet met a flavor he hasn't liked (he says "mmmmmmm" when he tries something new).
His latest "tricks" include tapping or waving to get our attention, shaking rattles and noise makers, a wide range of syllabic speech sounds (mama, dada, baba sounds, in addition to a wide range of growls, squeals, and grunts), peek-a-boo, scooting and rolling himself wherever he wants to go (before we re-route him), and big, wet, wide open-mouthed kisses for Mommy, Daddy, and sometimes Maddie (blegh). The animals are getting along with him surprisingly well. Both will come right up and let him pat (smack) them, and are quite gentle.
He is such a lovey, happy kid!
So freaking cute!
